Sometimes we find comfort in discomfort, in stayin Sometimes we find comfort in discomfort, in staying stuck in a place we don’t want to be, just because it’s familiar.

It’s easier for our brains to keep doing the same things we have always done, even if this isn’t bringing us joy.

Transformation and change happens when we can step outside of our ‘comfort zone’ and take consistent steps forwards.

It’s an honour to support my clients to take these first steps.

To show them that there is another way, change is possible and things can be different ⚡️

There is a different way of life waiting for you, if you dare to be courageous and step outside your comfort zone 💙

Let’s normalise snacking. ✔️Snacking is an Let’s normalise snacking.

✔️Snacking is an opportunity to add in extra micronutrients- vitamins and minerals.

✔️The urge to snack is an opportunity to pause and really notice what your body is trying to tell you.

✔️Life is busy and it’s not always possible to eat 3 meals a day at regular intervals.

✔️Time blindness can mean hours pass and you realise you’ve not eaten.

I teach my clients how to:

🧠 Make simple snack swaps to support their body and brain to function better.

📝Build a menu of simple, nutritious and tastey snack options which require minimal effort to prep.

🍫 Choose which shop bought snacks are nutritious vs what to avoid.

Women with ADHD - here is the truth… There is a Women with ADHD - here is the truth…

There is a distinct lack of research on Women and ADHD. Unfortunately like other neurodiverse conditions such as Autism, historically research has been male centric, neglecting the needs of girls and women.

There is limited research specific to women with ADHD, on how the symptoms manifest, on the interplay between hormones and ADHD and on the role nutrition and lifestyle play. With more women being diagnosed late in adulthood this has got to change. We deserve to have the opportunity to access the information and expertise to support us to live more healthily and happily 🙌

Fortunately for you I have been hyper focusing on the small amount of research there is out there on nutrition in adult ADHD. I draw on this evidence based information alongside what we already know in the nutrition world about what a healthy diet and lifestyle looks like in my 12 week 1-to-1 programme The ADHD Nutrition Prescription 🌟

I’m offering a free consultation for anyone interested in joining The ADHD Nutrition Prescription. This is for you if you’re:
✅A Women with ADHD
✅ Looking for high level 1:1 support
✅ Ready to invest in yourself like never before

DM me the phrase “FREE CALL” and I’ll send you the link to book a free consultation. I look forward to speaking with you and sharing what I know 😃👋🏽

Mindful eating is “paying attention to our food, Mindful eating is “paying attention to our food, on purpose, moment by moment” (1).

You might find that your ADHD means you are constantly on the go, in a rush and have a sense of impatience and urgency about your day to day living.

This can spill over in to your eating habits and meal times and result in eating fast and being in autopilot and not making conscious choices about the foods you are eating. By practising mindful eating the intention is to savour the food and be fully present when eating.

Try these 5 simple strategies to slow down at meal times and enjoy your food more mindfully:

1. Sit at a table to eat, switch the TV off or put your phone away.
2. Take 10 deep conscious breaths before every meal.
3. Put your knife and fork down between each mouth full.
4. Engage the senses as you eat. Smell the food, enjoy the visual aesthetics of it, feel the texture in your mouth, savor the flavors.
5. Commit to providing yourself the gift of more time at each meal. If you eat breakfast in five minutes, make it 10. Use a timer.
